Ceremony: St. Dominic's Catholic Church | Reception: Fairmont Hotel San Francisco |
Wedding Planner: Pretty Occasions | Videography: One Day Pictures
I liked Anna and Eric from the moment I met them. A charming San Francisco couple with impeccable taste, they wanted their entire wedding day to be photographed in a way that told the story of their celebration, but wasn't too stuffy.
They felt that my photography showed a sense of playfulness while capturing a lot of candid moments, and they wanted the same for their wedding. It's not hard to do when you have such fun people to photograph!
The ceremony took place at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, a traditional and beautiful venue with high ceilings, amazing stained glass ornaments, and low light. It was the perfect place for an intimate wedding ceremony.
They held their Reception at the iconic Fairmont Hotel which is one of my favorite locations in San Francisco. Solmaz Burke and her team from Pretty Occasions did an amazing job transforming the ball room, complimenting it's golden decor with table settings to match the venue and the sophistication of the couple.
Anna and Eric made a grand entrance which immediately led into an exciting first dance which was a mix of modern and traditional ball room moves. Then the groom surprised his wife with a musical serenade. Singing, accompanied by one of her bridesmaids and playing guitar, it really showed a very sweet side of Eric.
The night continued to be fun, energetic, and most of all, full of love and happiness. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this beautiful wedding bash!
