When I first met Lee and Christopher I immediately knew that I wanted to photograph their wedding. They had great chemistry together and it was easy to tell they were very much in love. Nothing translates better in a photograph than when two people genuinely bring joy to one-another. This was certainly the case with these two. I'm so happy they chose me to capture this important day!
Their marriage took place at the iconic University Club of San Francisco which was founded in 1890, located atop Nob Hill. The two decided on doing a first look and I'm so happy they did. My second photographer and I were able to get some absolutely stunning photos of them with the skyline of San Francisco in the background. When Christopher turned to see his bride-to-be you could see the love in his eyes.
The ceremony was officiated by a close friend of theirs adding to the intimacy of the celebration, which was filled with excitement, laughter, and tears. As Lee walked down the isle, Christopher watched with adoring eyes as the moment they've been waiting for came to reality. The two exchanged their vows which they thoughtfully wrote, filled with humor and sweet words for one another. I couldn't help but smile during the whole ceremony, and even choked up a little bit. What can I say, I'm a hopeless romantic.
After the ceremony we ducked away to take some quick photos in a nearby park. The two of were so cute together I kept seeing photo opportunities of them on the way to and from the location, so I followed my instinct and shot. You can't beat a beautiful couple in love, in one of the most lovely cities in the world.
The celebration continued into the evening with heartfelt speeches, a delicious dinner, dancing, and a little bit of everything that reminds us of how delicate and precious life is. Congratulations you two!
